Location

The U.S. Kuoshu Academy is located in Baltimore County at 11000 Owings Mills Boulevard, Suite 5 in Owings Mills, Maryland. We are approximately 1.5 miles from I-795N exit 4 – just down the street from the Best Buy, Chick-Fil-A, and the Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company.

Our school is about ten minutes from Pikesville, Randallstown, and Reisterstown; twenty minutes from Lutherville, Roland Park and Timonium; and thirty minutes from Columbia, Westminster, downtown Baltimore City and Ellicott City.

Facilities

The U.S. Kuoshu Academy is a dedicated, full-time martial arts school which trains students exclusively in the Chinese martial arts. Our school is approximately 3,000 square feet in size with over 2,000 square feet dedicated to training space. There are two training rooms available – the larger room has a firm mat surface and the smaller room is covered with carpet over padding. Both rooms have mirrors to facilitate instruction.

Our location includes separate changing rooms for men and women, separate restrooms for men and women, and a waiting area with chairs for parents or visitors. Plenty of parking is available in front of the school.

See the Photo Gallery to take a virtual tour of our school.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere in the school reflects the instructors, students and programs. Much of the school is decorated with calligraphy and paintings, either from Grandmaster Huang’s teacher or gifts from other noted martial arts masters around the world. One wall features photographs of students that have won championship standing at world-level Chinese martial arts tournaments from 1980 to 2006. The next TWKSF World Tournament will be held in Germany in the Fall of 2009, and several students and instructors from USKA are preparing to attend, compete, and judge in this event.
